Blog Updates

As you may have noticed, I’ve made several changes on the blog today. Most noticeably, I’ve added a new, custom style to the blog. For the most part I’m pleased with this new style, though the change will take some getting used to. As you can see, we have our primary links on the left column, the secondary links on the right column, and the navigation bar in the center with the posts below.

In addition to changes in the style, we’ve totally revamped the about page with details about the site and myself. I’ve also added a recommended page that show you several of the online services I personally use and recommend. Furthermore, I’ve added a contact page if you have any question for me or would like to advertise on the site.

Needless to say, I’ll be making additional changes and tweaks in the next few days, as well as posting more. Stay tuned!

Domain Name Change - I Am The Real Mad Hatter

WebmasterOasis.Com will now be RealMadHatter.Com. Webmaster Oasis, while a decent name, didn’t fit the feel of the site. I wanted something more original and brandable for this blog. My initial domain name picks were MarketingMadHatter.Com and MadHatMarketer.Com. Instead I chose to go with Real Mad Hatter, though I did buy the other domains, which will redirect here shortly.

My intent with this blog in the future will still be for it to discuss webmaster-related issues. However, from here on out, my topics of focus will center more on forum administration and on blogging, though I will touch on topics such as affiliate marketing, hosting, and other webmaster topics. I also intend to periodically post more personal posts and content that stands out to me as important or unusually interesting (such as this one).

For now I’ll remain with the default theme, though you can expect a total design revamp in the near future, resulting in a custom theme. I also hope to make many additional changes around the site.

If you’re a current RSS subscriber (there are only a few of you) you’ll have to update your RSS feed to a new one after the site is moved in a few hours.
